Miss Armenia-1998 Gohar Harutyunyan proud of Armenian football players

I am proud of our football players, said in an interview with NEWS.am Sport “Miss Armenia-1998,” “Miss CIS - 1999,” “Miss Globe - 2009,” one of the most beautiful women in Armenia, Gohar Harutyunyan, who on January 11, gave birth to her third child.

Gohar, do you like sports? What sports do you follow?

Yes, I am interested in sports, and watch those sports, where our athletes perform: chess, football, weightlifting.

Are you involved in sports?

I regret very much not going in for sport when I was a child. For my career, sports would have been very useful. But I have done fitness and yoga.

If you made the list of top three athletes of 2012, who would be included?

Levon Aronian, Arsen Julfalakyan, and third place would be shared between Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Yura Movsisyan.

Who is your favorite football player?

These two players - Mkhitaryan and Movsisyan. I am very proud of our Armenian guys, who could, despite the difficult situation in the country, become big figures in football.

Do you have a favorite team?

No, there is no such team. We always follow the performances of the national team. My husband is very active in this respect. He always says, “Today Arthur Abraham will be fighting, so – we are watching!”
