FIDE presidential board meeting in Armenia’s Tsakhkadzor

YEREVAN. – Tsakhkadzor resort city in Armenia is going to host the meeting of the FIDE presidential board, which is scheduled for Jan. 18 to 21.

A FIDE delegation headed by the organization’s president Kirsan Ilyumzhinov will arrive in Armenia. The meeting will bring together 24 members of the chess international federation, armchess.am reported.

World champions Viswanathan Anand, representing India, and Anna Ushenina, representing Ukraine, who had also been invited, would not be able to arrive in Armenia.
