U-20 World Blitz Chess Championship: Robert Piliposyan wins bronze medal

Armenian chess players secured top positions at the World U20 Blitz Chess Championship, held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.

International Master Robert Piliposyan scored 9.5 points out of a possible 13, tying for 2nd–4th place. Based on tie-break criteria, Robert won the bronze medal.

International Master Alex Sahakyan scored 9 points and finished in 5th place, reports the press service of the Armenian Chess Federation.

Grandmaster Emin Ohanyan also participated in the championship, finishing in 13th place with 8.5 points.
