Ronaldo wins the all-time Ballon d'Or
23:58 28 October, 2026Cristiano Ronaldo, the 41-year-old Portugal and Al-Nassr forward, has been named the winner of the all-time Ballon d’Or, according to the award’s press service.
Following a fan vote, Ronaldo’s 2008 Ballon d’Or was named the greatest of all time.
The contenders for this honor were players who had won the Ballon d'Or at least twice during their careers: Lionel Messi (8 times), Cristiano Ronaldo (5), Johan Cruyff (3), Michel Platini (3), Marco van Basten (3), Alfredo Di Stéfano (2), Franz Beckenbauer (2), Kevin Keegan (2), Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (2), and Ronaldo (2).
