World Championships: Slavik Galstyan and Karen Aslanyan are in the semi-finals

A bronze medalist at the World and European Championships Slavik Galstyan and a World Championship bronze medalist and European Championship silver medalist Karen Aslanyan have advanced to the semifinals of the World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships, currently taking place in Astana, Kazakhstan.

In the quarterfinals, Slavik Galstyan (67 kg) defeated Norway’s Havard Jorgensen with a score of 3–2.

In the quarterfinals, Karen Aslanyan (63 kg) secured a decisive 9–0 victory over Uzbekistan’s Ozodbek Khalimboev.
