Al-Ahli’s victory, Spertsyan’s brilliant assist
00:07 24 October, 2026In the 11th round of the Saudi Professional League, Al-Ahli faced Al-Khaleej at home, securing a 4–1 victory.
In the 11th minute, Al-Ahli’s English forward Ivan Toney opened the scoring, following a brilliant assist from Armenian national team midfielder Eduard Spertsyan, who was substituted off in the 66th minute. In stoppage time, Ivan Toney completed a brace by successfully converting a penalty kick. Ukrainian midfielder Artem Bondarenko and Portuguese midfielder Francisco Trincão also scored for Al-Ahli.
Al-Ahli currently sits in 5th place with 21 points, while Al-Khaleej is in 10th place with 12 points.
