Spain's King Felipe has invited Messi to an official dinner
13:05 22 October, 2026The 39-year-old Argentine forward, an eight-time Ballon d'Or winner and world champion Lionel Messi has been invited to an official dinner with King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain, reports Marca.
On October 22, in the Spanish city of Oviedo, Messi will attend the Princess of Asturias Awards ceremony, where he will receive the sports award.
At the Oviedo Sports Palace, Messi will meet with schoolchildren, university students, and fans.
Immediately following these events, Messi will return to the United States to participate in Inter Miami’s Major League Soccer (MLS) regular-season match against the New York Red Bulls.
