Luis Enrique: It was a top-level match against an incredibly strong opponent
12:40 21 October, 2026The Spanish head coach of PSG Luis Enrique commented on his team's 4–2 home victory against the Spanish champions, Barcelona, in the third round of the Champions League.
"It was a top-level match against an incredibly strong opponent. Defending the way we did is very difficult, but I am certain that this was the key to our victory. We played well defensively.
We defeated a team that had been undefeated this season and had been scoring an average of four goals per match, yet against us, they scored only two," Luis Enrique said, as quoted by ESPN.
PSG currently leads the Champions League standings with 9 points.
