13:10 9 October, 2026The European Junior and U23 Weightlifting Championships will be held in Durres, Albania, from October 12 to 19, with Armenia participating with a squad of 19 weightlifters.
Representing the junior team in the men's events will be Artush Grigoryan and Davit Arakelyan (both 65 kg), Samvel Martirosyan (70 kg), Narek Grigoryan and Hovhannes Hovhannisyan (both 75 kg), Narek Mkrtchyan (85 kg), Valerik Mkrtchyan (95 kg), and Grigor Ghazaryan (110 kg). Competing in the women's events will be Meri Misakyan (69 kg), Anna Amroyan and Alina Sukiasyan (both 77 kg), and Emma Poghosyan (86 kg).
Competing in the European U23 Championship will be Aleksandra Grigoryan (57 kg), Seyran Khudanyan (60 kg), Tigran Karapetyan (75 kg), Martin Poghosyan (85 kg), Suren Grigoryan and Mnatsakan Abrahamyan (95 kg), and Ashot Movsisyan (+110 kg).
