Zidane: We were good in all aspects and deserved the win
10:25 29 September, 2026France head coach Zinedine Zidane commented on the victory over Belgium (1–0) in the second round of the Nations League.
"We were good in every aspect, especially in our pressing. Everyone was involved, and we managed to execute a smart game plan against a strong opponent. We dominated and showed courage, unafraid to push into the opposition's half.
Given how we played, I believe we deserved the win," RMC Sport quotes Zidane as saying.
It is worth noting that winger Michael Olise scored the winning goal for France in the 88th minute of the match.
