The Uruguay national football team faced South Korea in a friendly match in Seoul, securing a 4–1 victory (video).

Darwin Nunez, the forward for the Saudi club Al-Diriyah, scored a brace for the team led by Argentine manager Marcelo Bielsa.

The Japan national team played a friendly match against Venezuela in Hiroshima, winning 2–1 (video). Ayase Ueda scored a brace for the home side.
