Sevilla's French midfielder Youssouf Fofana opened the scoring in the 19th minute.
Barcelona's Brazilian forward Raphinha scored a hat-trick, finding the net in the 22nd, 52nd, and 69th minutes.
The winger for both the Catalan club and the Spanish national team Lamine Yamal provided two assists.
Barcelona tops the standings with 21 points, holding a six-point lead over second-placed Real Madrid. Sevilla has 13 points and sits in fifth place.
