Roma squandered a two-goal lead; a brace from Martinez rescued Inter

In the fifth round of the Italian championship, Roma hosted the reigning league and cup champions, Inter Milan. The match ended in a 2–2 draw (video).

In the first half, the capital club's French midfielder, Manu Kone, scored twice.

In the second half, Inter avoided defeat thanks to a brace from Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez.

Former Armenia national team captain and 37-year-old midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was among Inter's substitutes but did not take the field.

Roma and Inter are the joint leaders, each with 13 points.
