Arsen Harutyunyan defeated Austin DeSanto and won the RAF championship belt
11:06 19 September, 2026A four-time European freestyle wrestling champion and four-time world bronze medalist Arsen Harutyunyan defeated 27-year-old American wrestler and RAF tournament winner Austin DeSanto at the RAF13 event held in Miami. The Harutyunyan-DeSanto bout was a title match.
Arsen Harutyunyan competed in his third match in the American RAF freestyle wrestling league and won the championship belt.
The four-time European champion had competed in his previous RAF bout on July 19. At the tournament held in Milwaukee, USA, the four-time European champion secured a hard-fought 6–5 victory over American Ben Davino.
