US Open Final: Alexander Zverev defeats Ben Shelton

World No. 2 Alexander Zverev won the US Open tennis championship title in New York for the first time.

In the final, the German representative defeated world No. 9 Ben Shelton of the United States with a score of 6-3, 7-6 (7-2), 5-7, 6-2. The match lasted 3 hours and 32 minutes.

This marked Zverev's second Grand Slam title.

The US Open prize fund was $108 million.
