US Open. Khachanov lost to Zverev in the semifinals

In the semifinals of the US Open tennis tournament currently underway in New York, Russia's Karen Khachanov (ranked 50th in the world) faced Germany's Alexander Zverev (ranked 2nd) and lost in three sets: 3-6, 6-7 (7-9), 6-7 (6-8). The match lasted 2 hours and 54 minutes.

In the final, Alexander Zverev will face the winner of the match between American Ben Shelton (ranked 9th) and American Frances Tiafoe (ranked 11th).

The US Open prize fund is $108 million.
