The first round of matches in the European Champions League has concluded.

German champions Bayern Munich defeated Norway's Bodo/Glimt 5–0 at home (video).

England's Manchester United hosted Azerbaijan's Sabah and won 4–0 (video).

Italy's Como marked their Champions League debut with a victory; the team, led by Spaniard Cesc Fabregas, defeated Germany's RB Leipzig 4–1 at home (video).

Czech side Slavia hosted France's Lens and lost 2–3.
