Spanish forward Ferran Torres scored a hat-trick, while French forward Ousmane Dembele netted a brace. Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz also got on the scoresheet.
Slovan's only goal was scored by Gambian midfielder Suleyman Kamara, assisted by former Armenian national team forward Tigran Barseghyan.
English champions Arsenal (London) visited Italian runners-up Napoli and won 1–0 thanks to a goal by Norwegian midfielder Martin Odegaard (video).
England's Liverpool defeated Atletico Madrid 3–1 at home (video).
