Eric Garcia has broken his nose
15:05 7 September, 2026Barcelona and Spain national team defender Eric Garcia has suffered a broken nose for the second time in a year.
The incident occurred during the match against Valencia (5–0) in the fourth round of the Spanish La Liga, Sport.es reports.
In the 25th minute, while battling for the ball in the penalty area, Garcia collided with his teammate Rodri, who accidentally struck the defender in the face with his head. Garcia began to bleed and was substituted.
The 25-year-old defender had sustained a similar injury in November 2025 during a Champions League match against Club Brugge.
