Inter President: With the new Champions League format, the suspense remains until the final round

President of the Italian league and cup champions Inter Milan Giuseppe Marotta commented on the Champions League draw results.

"I am confident that a fantastic stage of the competition awaits us, although the new format keeps the suspense alive until the final round, and you cannot be certain of advancing to the next stage until the very last moment.

We are always ambitious; in sports, there is no other way. But ambition does not mean arrogance. Inter has come a long way in recent years, and it is our duty to give 100% and honor the history of such a great club.

At the same time, we have the right to dream. When dreams become reality, it is thanks to people like us who are ready to take action," Inter's official website quotes Marotta as saying.

In the main stage of the Champions League, Inter will face Liverpool, Real Madrid, Club Brugge, Borussia Dortmund, Shakhtar, Feyenoord, Stuttgart, and Slovan Bratislava.
