In a match rescheduled from the first round of the Spanish La Liga, runners-up Real Madrid hosted Real Sociedad.

The team led by Portuguese manager José Mourinho secured a 4–1 victory (video).

French forward Kylian Mbappe scored a hat-trick. Brazilian forward Vinícius Junior also found the net.

English midfielder Jude Bellingham provided two assists.

Real Madrid currently leads the standings after two victories.
