Jannik Sinner has withdrawn from the Cincinnati Open with a right knee injury

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner has sustained a right knee injury. The Italian tennis player will not participate in the Cincinnati Masters in the US, the tournament's press service reports.

The Cincinnati Masters will take place from August 13 to 30.

The prize fund stands at $9.4 million.

The tournament's defending champion is world No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz (Spain).
