U-17 World Championships: Ararat Avetisyan won the bronze medal in Baku

Armenia won its first medal at the U-17 Greco-Roman Wrestling World Championships taking place in Baku. Ararat Avetisyan, Armenia's representative and a bronze medalist at the U-17 European Championships, secured the bronze medal.

In the bronze medal bout, Ararat Avetisyan defeated Hungary's Benedek Tombor with an 8–0 score, winning the match early.
