Biel Chess Festival: Levon Aronian wins the title

The former leader of the Armenian national chess team, Levon Aronian (USA), won the title of the winner of the Biel Chess Festival in the grandmaster triathlon (in the overall standings of the rapid, classical and lightning chess tournaments), held in Switzerland.

Levon Aronian won the rapid and blitz tournaments and finished fourth in the classical chess tournament.

Aronian scored 25 points in the overall standings, while the runner-up, Aydin Suleymanli of Azerbaijan, scored 21 points.
