Iasi Open: Armenia’s Elina Avanesyan starts with victory

The world No. 224-ranked player from Armenia, Elina Avanesyan, has started her campaign at the Iasi Open tennis tournament in Romania with a victory.

In the Round of 32, the 23-year-old tennis player faced world No. 108 Moyuka Uchijima (Japan), and won 6:2, 6:4.

The match lasted 1 hour and 27 minutes.

The prize fund of the Iasi Open is 283,347 US dollars.
