2026 World Cup: Spain beat Belgium (video)

In the quarterfinals, held in Inglewood (USA), the Spaniards defeated Belgium 2-1.
Fabian Ruiz, the 30-year-old midfielder for French champions PSG, opened the scoring in the 30th minute (video).
Charles De Ketelaere, the 25-year-old midfielder for the Italian club Atalanta, scored the equalizer for Belgium in the 41st minute (video).
Mikel Merino, the 30-year-old Arsenal midfielder who had come on as a substitute in the 86th minute, scored Spain's winning goal in the 88th minute (video).
In the semi-finals, Spain will face the runners-up, France, who eliminated Morocco.
