2026 World Cup: Mexico beat Ecuador to reach Round of 16

Mexico defeated Ecuador 2-0 in Mexico City in the Round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Al-Qadsiah striker Julian Quinones opened the scoring in the 22nd minute.

And Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez doubled Mexico’s lead in the 31st minute.

In the Round of 16, Mexico will face the winners of the England vs. Democratic Republic of the Congo clash in the Round of 32.
