2026 World Cup: 7 nations secure Round of 32 spots after second round of group stage

Seven national teams already have secured their spots in the Round of 32 after the second round of group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is jointly hosted by the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Accordingly, Mexico, the USA, Germany, France, Norway, Argentina, and Colombia have qualified so far for the playoffs.

The third round of group stage matches will be played from Wednesday to Sunday.

The tournament will end on July 19.

For the first time, 48 nations are participating in a World Cup.
