Shortest, tallest players of 2026 World Cup announced

FIFA has revealed the shortest and tallest footballers who will play in the 2026 World Cup, which will be held jointly in the US, Canada, and Mexico, from 11 June to 19 July.

Accordingly, Austria and Viktoria Plzen goalkeeper Florian Wiegele, 25, is the tallest at 205 cm.

And Panama and Cobresal midfielder Cesar Yanis, 30 is the shortest at 160 cm.

Austria will play against Argentina, Algeria, and Jordan in the group stage, while Panama will face England, Croatia, and Ghana.
