Bayern's English striker Harry Kane opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 17th minute.
Georgian striker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored the equalizer in the 24th minute.
Portuguese midfielder Joao Neves put PSG ahead in the 33rd minute.
Bayern's French midfielder Michael Olise restored parity in the 41st minute.
PSG's French striker Ousmane Dembele converted a penalty in the 5th minute of added time in the first half.
Kvaratskhelia netted his second goal in the 56th minute.
Three minutes later, Dembele scored PSG's fifth goal.
German club's French defender Dayot Upamecano reduced the goal deficit in the 65th minute.
And Colombian striker Luis Diaz scored Bayern's fourth goal in the 69th minute.
The second leg will be played in Munich on April 6.
