European Weightlifting Championships: Armenia's Garnik Cholakyan wins silver (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Garnik Cholakyan became a silver medalist at the 2026 European Weightlifting Championships in Batumi, Georgia.

In the men’s 60kg competition, the Armenian representative lifted a combined weight of 274 kg (124+150) and finished 1 kg behind the gold winner, Angel Rusev (Bulgaria).
