Bayern Munich have reached the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.

The reigning German Bundesliga champions hosted last season’s Spanish La Liga runners-up Real Madrid in the second legs of their quarterfinals, and won 4-3.

German midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic, English striker Harry Kane, Colombian striker Luis Diaz, and French midfielder Michael Olise scored for Bayern.

Turkish striker Arda Guler scored twice for Real. French striker Kylian Mbappe also netted a goal for the visitors.

In the first leg in Madrid, Bayern had won 2-1.

Bayern's opponents in the semifinals will be French Ligue 1 titleholders and Champions League winners PSG, who had eliminated reigning English Premier League champions Liverpool in the quarterfinals.
