Armenia's Artur Avetisyan becomes world gymnastics absolute champion

Artur Avetisyan of Armenia became the absolute champion of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in the sum of the results of all rounds. He is the best in the Rings exercise.

Of the 6 rounds of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, Team Armenia participated in the first round held in Cottbus, Germany, the 4th round in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, and the 5th round in Osijek, Croatia.

Team Armenia missed the second round, as it was held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Armenia did not participate also in the third round held in Turkey, as it was unable to return home from Doha due to ongoing hostilities in the Middle East.

And the 6th round to be held in Doha was canceled due to these hostilities. Separately, Artur Davtyan of Armenia won a gold medal in the Cottbus tournament, and a silver medal in the Cairo and Osijek tournaments.
