Champions League: Match results of the day

The first legs of the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League concluded Wednesday.

Last season’s Spanish La Liga runners-up Real Madrid defeated England’s Manchester City 3-0 at home. Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde scored a hat-trick.

Reigning French Ligue 1 champions and Champions League winners PSG defeated 2025 FIFA Club World Cup champions Chelsea 5-2 at home.

Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt beat Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon 3-0

Bayer Leverkusen and Arsenal, on the other hand, played a 1-1 draw.

The second legs of these pairings will be played on March 17.
