Aleksandr Grigoryan, who until recently was head coach of the Russian First Division FC SKA-Energiya of Khabarovsk, could become the boss at FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod, where Armenian national team forward Arthur Sarkisov plays his club football.

Management of the Nizhny Novgorod club considers 46-year-old Grigoryan as the main contender for the job of FC Volga Head Coach, Life Sports reports.

To note, the Russian Armenian specialist quit his managing position at FC SKA-Energiya just recently and for unknown reasons. Aleksandr Grigoryan was coaching the club since 2011.

FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod is thirteenth so far in the current season of the Russian Premier League.
