Alysa Liu of US becomes Olympic champion, Russia’s Adeliia Petrosian finishes 6th

American Alysa Liu won the gold medal in women's figure skating at the 2026 Winter Olympics, which are continuing in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.

Japan’s Kaori Sakamoto and Ami Nakai won silver and bronze, respectively.

And Russian Armenian Adeliia Petrosian of Russia finished sixth.
