Armenia futsal team captain: It was a very difficult game

Vladimir Sanosyan, captain of the Armenian national futsal team, commented on their 5-4 win in the second round of the UEFA European Futsal Championship 2026 group stage in Lithuania.

"It was a very difficult game. They knew that the game was in our hands, but sometimes we weakened and they were punishing for it. We will analyze this game so that we do not make such mistakes in the next matches. I dedicated my goal to my teammate Aleks, who passed away this month," said Sanosyan.

Armenia have qualified for the quarterfinals.
