Champions League: Game results of the day
01:59 21 January, 2026The first day of the penultimate Matchday 7 of the UEFA Champions League took place Tuesday.
Last season’s Italian Serie A runners-up Inter Milan hosted last season’s English premier League runners-up Arsenal and lost 1-3. Former Armenian national team captain and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was among the Inter substitutes and did not play.
Last season’s Spanish La Liga runners-up Real Madrid played at home against Monaco and won 6-1.
French Ligue 1 titleholder PSG, the defending champion of the Champions League, lost 1-2 to Sporting Lisbon in Portugal.
Reigning Italian Serie A champions Napoli played 1-1 with Copenhagen in Denmark.

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Borussia Dortmund: 2-0
Villarreal vs. Ajax: 1-2
