Serie A: Inter, with Mkhitaryan, defeat Parma

Last season’s runners-up, Inter Milan, were hosted by Parma and won 2-0 in Matchweek 19 of Italy’s Serie A football. Italian defender Federico Dimarco opened the scoring in the 42nd minute. And French striker Marcus Thuram doubled the visitors’ lead in the 8th minute of added time.

Former Armenian national team captain and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was in the starting lineup for Inter, and he played the entire match.

Inter lead the current Serie A standings, with 42 points, while Parma are fifteenth, with 18 points.
