Paris Masters: Karen Khachanov makes winning start

World No. 14 Karen Khachanov (Russia) began the Paris Masters tournament with a victory.

In the Round of 64, the Muscovite Armenian tennis star defeated world No. 71 Ethan Quinn (USA) in two sets—6:1, 6:1. The match lasted one hour.

Khachanov’s opponent in the Round of 32 will be the winner of the match between world No. 24, Denis Shapovalov (Canada), and world No. 28, Joao Fonseca (Brazil) in the Round of 64.

The prize fund of the Paris Masters is €6.1 million.
