Uzbekistan record first win under new manager Cannavaro

The Uzbekistan national football team have claimed their first victory under newly appointed Italian head coach Fabio Cannavaro, 52.

Uzbekistan defeated Kuwait 2–0 in a friendly match.

And on October 13, Uzbekistan will play another friendly, this time against Uruguay.

Uzbekistan, under their former manager Timur Kapadze, already had secured a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
