Antonio Conte: Not easy after conceding goal in 4th minute at Milan’s San Siro Stadium
10:48 29 September, 2025Titleholders Napoli manager Antonio Conte commented on their 1-2 defeat to Milan in Matchweek 5 of Italian Serie A football.
"Unfortunately, we conceded a goal too early. Our team could have done better in both of the goals.
It's not easy after conceding a goal in the fourth minute at San Siro [Stadium of Milan]. Overall, we were playing our game, pressing hard, and creating [scoring] chances. But we need to improve our game, as we are conceding a lot of goals. We had conceded two goals from Pisa, too; that's a problem.
Defense has always been our strong point, and that's why we have to strive to improve," Conte said, DAZN reports.
Napoli are second, with 12 points, but Milan lead the current Serie A standings, also with 12 points.
