World Challenge Cup: Armenia’s Hamlet Manukyan wins silver
00:32 15 September, 2025Hamlet Manukyan of Armenia won a silver medal at the World Challenge Cup gymnastics tournament held in Paris.
Also, the reigning European champion and world cup winner performed—on the pommel horse—a new element, which will be officially named after him and be called "The Manukyan."
The other Armenian gymnasts who have performed elements named after them are Hrant Shahinyan (pommel horse), Albert Azaryan (rings), Artur Hakobyan (vault), Vahagn Stepanyan (pommel horse), Vahagn Davtyan (rings), Houry Gebeshian (uneven bars), and Artur Davtyan (pommel horse).
