Last season’s runners-up Inter Milan suffered a 1-2 defeat at home to Udinese in Round 2 of the new Italian Serie A football season.

The home team took the lead first, thanks to a goal from their Dutch defender Denzel Dumfries.

But English striker Keinan Davis equalized in the 29th minute from the penalty spot.

And French midfielder Arthur Atta’s goal in the 40th minute gave Udinese the victory.

Former Armenian national football team captain and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was among Inter’s substitutes, and he entered the pitch in the 63rd minute.

Udinese are fifth, with 4 points, in the current Serie A standings, while Inter have 3 points and are sixth.

Separately, Lazio played Verona in Rome and won 4-0. The Italian capital club are currently seventh, with 3 points.
