Champions League: 36 teams divided into four pots

The UEFA Champions League draw will take place in Monaco on August 28, starting at 8 p.m. Yerevan time.

The 36 teams are divided into four pots.

Each team will play eight matches in the group stage: four at home and four away. Each team will face two opponents from each pot. 

The top eight teams will advance to the round of 16.

Teams ranked 9th to 24th will play in play-off matches for eight additional spots in the play-offs.Teams ranked 25th to 36th will be eliminated from European competition.
