Champions League: Match results of the day
01:05 28 August, 2025The last four participants of the main round of the UEFA Champions League have been determined.
Accordingly, Club Brugge (Belgium), Copenhagen (Denmark), Benfica (Portugal), and Qarabag (Azerbaijan) have overcome the qualification “barrier.”
Club Brugge defeated Glasgow Rangers (Scotland) 6-0 in the second leg. Brugge had won 3-1 in the first leg.
Qarabag lost 2-3 to Ferencvaros (Hungary) in the second leg, but will continue their Champions League campaign thanks to their 3-1 win in the first leg.
Copenhagen won 2-0 at home against Basel (Switzerland). These two clubs had played a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
And Benfica defeated Fenerbahce (Turkey) 1-0 at home. Their first leg had ended in a goalless draw.
The losing clubs will continue their campaign in the main round of the UEFA Europa League.
