Armenia’s athlete wins bronze

Armenia’s representative, Hayk Hakobyan, captured bronze medal at the European Under 23 Weightlifting Championships, which wrapped up in Eilat, Israel.

In the +105 kilogram competition, Hakobyan—who himself weighed 126 kilograms—snatched 192 kilograms and captured first spot in this category,

Then he lifted 220 kilograms in the clean & jerk and took third place in this category, and, as a result, Hayk Hakobyan came in third overall, with lifting a total of 412 kilograms.
