U17 World Wrestling Championships: Armenia’s Marat Achemyan defeats Turkish opponent 11-0, wins bronze medal

Marat Achemyan of Armenia faced a Turkish opponent for the bronze medal in the 51kg Greco-Roman wrestling competition and won 11-0 at the U17 World Wrestling Championships 2025 being held in Athens.

Also, Zaven Mezhlumyan of Armenia won a bronze medal in the 60kg competition, as he defeated his Ukrainian opponent 5-2.

And the previous day, Janes Nazaryan of Armenia had won the gold medal in the 65kg competition.
