Wimbledon: Karen Khachanov advances to quarterfinals

World No. 20 Karen Khachanov (Russia) advanced to the quarterfinals of the men’s singles competition at the Wimbledon tournament.

In the Round of 16, the Muscovite Armenian tennis player defeated world No. 109 Kamil Majchrzak (Poland) 6:4, 6:2, 6:3. The match lasted 1 hour and 46 minutes.

In the quarterfinals, Khachanov will face the winner of the match between world No. 5 Taylor Fritz (USA) and world No. 44 Jordan Thompson (Australia) in the Round of 16.

The prize fund of the Wimbledon is £53.5 million.
