Geneva Open: Karen Khachanov out in quarterfinals

World No. 24 Karen Khachanov (Russia) failed to reach the semifinals of the Geneva Open tournament in Switzerland. In the quarterfinals, the Muscovite Armenian tennis player faced world No. 128 Sebastian Ofner (Austria) and lost 6:4, 4:6, 4:6. The match lasted 1 hour and 56 minutes.

In the semifinals, Ofner’s opponent will be the winner of the quarterfinal match between world No. 4 Taylor Fritz (USA) and World No. 31 Hubert Hurkacz (Poland).

The prize fund of the Geneva Open is 596 thousand euros.
